Crumps' Naturals - Dog Treat Review

Grace -

I decided to do a review on this company because it is one that Chubbs has loved for years. Crumps' is a company that is based out of Brampton, Ontario. Their ingredients are free from additives, colors and preservatives. All ingredients are sourced and manufactured in North America.

The main reason why I decided to try this line of treats for Chubbs is the large amount of single ingredient treats they have. Chubbs loves to think she can eat anything and everything but her tummy gets a bit red and irritated when she eats red meat. She also is a bit chunky so I have to be aware of the fat and calories in her treats.

I love that the treats have been baked or freeze dried so there easy to break up and divide in smaller pieces. Chubbs favorite are the Lamb Chops, Sweet Potato Fries and Apple Bites.

These were actually given to Elvis and Daisy with their Christmas present from their Aunt Grace and Chubbs. If you haven’t noticed both Elvis and Daisy are small dogs, so the mini trainers are TINY but they are perfect for them.

While the puppies are one and a bit they are still perfecting their walking on a leash abilities. Especially, Daisy who thinks it’s okay to lick strangers as we walk by. If you are one of these people and are reading this, I’m so sorry! These mini trainers are a perfect tool for this type of training because the puppies absolutely love them, and you have to give them so often.

We are currently using these in conjunction with the maple salmon bites from Chew Chew for walk training and for issues with barking.

Elvis, our chunky little chihuahua has been on a diet for basically a year now, so we’re very careful about the treats we give him and how many we give him. We have the freeze-dried beef liver mini trainers, and that’s it they are just beef liver. Healthy and simple for him.

I would highly recommend these treats especially as a training tool. But, if your puppy is bigger than 12 pounds I would try finding a bigger size treat even for a training tool.
