SIMS 4 SERIES REVIEW

THIS WEEK: Get Together

By: Ashley & Rachel

As a recap from the last article, we are OBSESSED with Sims 4. The neat thing with this game is that it comes with optional extension packs (not really optional to us because, well, obsession). We thought that we’d review the second newest expansion pack. Sims 4 - Get together.

One of the coolest aspects of this game is the introduction of apartments in the new world of Windenburg. Although you can’t physically build new apartments (*hint hint Sims creators), you can decorate them and make it your own. You can even throw rowdy parties, just keep it quiet or you’ll get an angry neighbour hanging at your door.

Another fabulous addition is the option of joining groups and clubs or even creating one.

You can create rules, interests and hangouts for your new friends to explore.

There are different festivals throughout the world that you can travel to. You can try new foods, buy and sell your stuff, and even make a few new friends.. Plus, rocking new outfits!

Even better you can buy and place food carts now, jumping on trend with the real world.

We also can’t forget the huge amount of new furniture and building options such as wallpaper that this pack has to offer. We did notice that this pack had more than usual in this department, and it did take a little extra time to load everything once this was added.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with this one. Try it, trust us, it will change your Sims 4 experience

Sims 4 Base Game

So, we have to say, Sims 4 is hands down the best game ever. Okay… so maybe we’re a bit biased,
considering both of us have played Sims 1-4 since it first came out. But seriously, it is so awesome.

We both love that we can create a character who looks EXACTLY LIKE US (except in Sims, Ashley has the
height of a normal human being). We can make it rain with simoleons, have a badass job, choose how
our future children will look like and pick a stud muffin to procreate with.

Both of our laptops can play the game without a problem (even Ashley's Grandma laptop, hi Betty!). There are plenty of new cheats to use but the good ol' "motherlode" still works just fine.

Now, your sims of Sims 4 experience a whole new range of emotions. Even for us long term players it was a little overwhelming. But, with a little practice you can make it work.

Trust us, Sims 4 will change your life.
